Common Questions and Client Support

 

  • Yes! FV do not accept insurance, but we can use FSA and HSA.

    Most FSA/HSA providers approve charges. You can use your card like a CC. But some only approve major medical companies. In this case, you will need to apply for reimbursement.

  • This can be done in the Patient Portal. You can also email me at info@femalevitality.org or text me at 314-782-3888.

  • Until we reach your goals!

  • Anything pertaining to health information is conducted in a HIPAA compliant EMR.

  • If your insurance covers weight loss medications, then I would encourage you to seek semaglutide or tirzepatide from your primary care provider. But most employers have opted out of covering weight loss medication. In that case, FV can provide the medication at an affordable price.

    Insurance companies should not get to decide what medications you can take!

    FV does accept FSA or HSA which can be applied to your medication costs.

  • Yes! You are encouraged to see your primary care provider before starting with FV!

    We ask that you schedule a “well check” or “annual physical” with your primary care physician or your gynecologist they would most likely order a CBC, CMP, Lipid Panel (fasting). You could ask that they also check:

    -Thyroid function (TSH, Free T4, Free T3, anti-TPO)

    -Average blood sugar or A1C

    -Vitamin D

    -Vitamin B12

    -Insulin level (fasting)

    -Ferritin and Iron

    Please also ask for any age-appropriate preventative screening tests.

  • I can order labs for you. We can discuss options on how to do this at your first appointment.

  • The cost of lab tests will vary depending on the plan that is developed specifically for you. You can learn more about costs under the Services page.

  • Although the name is Female Vitality, this program is for anyone!

    FV does NOT assist with gender reassignment hormone therapy.

  • Schedule a One-Time FM or Hormone Evaluation and Consult found in the Schedule Now button. The cost is $175/visit.

  • For each referral, I will take off $75 from your next order.

  • GLP-1 medications are FDA approved for BMI over 30 or BMI over 28 with a history of hypertension, family history of diabetes, etc. FV does not treat anyone with BMI less than 26. Using the medication at a BMI of 26-28 would be considered off-label and would be described in a weight loss consent.

  • Pricing depends on your medication dose. You only pay one fee when you order! No other charges are added.
